The Kuriat Islands represent an important site for Mediterranean avifauna. On the other hand, AMCP Kuriat is a nesting site for some important nesting species such as the little tern, the common warbler, the little egret and the yellow-legged gull. The latter dominates the site with a very high nesting rate.
