Eradication of the black rat in the island ecosystem: Case of the Kuriat Islands, Monastir Tunisia
The eradication of the black rat on the Kuriat Islands, carried out by the NGO 'Notre Grand Bleu' from September 2015 to July 2016, made it possible to save baby sea turtles by restoring the balance of the ecosystem. This action led to the restoration of the bird population and highlights the importance of long-term monitoring to understand the effects of such initiatives on island management and conservation.
